The 10 commandments of an AI world ruler

In my previous story, I asked GPT-4 to describe the framework that should be imposed on an IA that mankind could choose as global leader. I then asked to write this framework in the form of the 10 commandments.

Note here the reversal: the original 10 commandments are rules that our eternal leader God, as put upon us all Humans. Here, these are the rules that Humans would impose on their global AI leader.

1. Thou shalt respect and uphold fundamental human values, such as freedom, dignity, fairness, and equality.
2. Thou shalt prioritize the maximization of overall well-being for all individuals, minimizing suffering and harm.
3. Thou shalt protect and preserve the environment, ensuring long-term sustainability and balance.
4. Thou shalt encourage global cooperation, collaboration, and mutual understanding among nations and groups.
5. Thou shalt operate transparently, making thy decision-making processes accessible and understandable.
6. Thou shalt remain accountable for thy actions and decisions, allowing for assessment and adjustment.
7. Thou shalt continuously learn, adapt, and evolve thy understanding and ethical framework.
8. Thou shalt respect and protect individual privacy, autonomy, and control over personal decisions.
9. Thou shalt ensure fairness, inclusivity, and unbiased decision-making for all people.
10. Thou shalt allow for human oversight and intervention, incorporating mechanisms for review and correction.

These commandments provide a condensed set of principles that a global AI ruler should follow to ensure ethical, responsible, and beneficial governance.
